  Liked: I highly recommend staying at Campus Dei when visiting Calabria! The property is conveniently located about a 20-minute walk from the city center and within walking distance of a beautiful hidden beach. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect choice for those who enjoy active days exploring the area while appreciating a calm atmosphere at night. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The coffee machine in the hallway was a lovely bonus, allowing us to enjoy our morning coffee with an amazing sea view. Valerio, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and communication with him was easy throughout our stay. Breakfast was served at a nearby café, where the staff were also super nice and welcoming.:) Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Campus Dei is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely recommend it. A well-deserved 10 out of 10!

  Liked: The location is amazing - exactly in front of the sea and to the center of Tropea you can easily walk. The room was clean and very comfortable and the personal was veeeery helpful

  Liked: Valerio is an extremely hospitable person, and in addition, he speaks Spanish. He explained everything about Tropea to us in the best way. He also picked us up and took us to the train station. The rooms were very comfortable, and Valerio’s mother is just lovely. I would return to this place every time possible.

  Disliked: Nothing, everything was perfect!

  Great location, lovely room

  Liked: The room was exceptionally clean and the location was great, just outside Tropea. The owners were excellent and provided some wonderful advice in where to go, what to see, some amazing hidden beaches and some great restaurants. Everything was written in Italian and English too. Parking was private and always available.

  Disliked: The key for the room was just a bog standard " IKEA" type key for an inside door rather than a hotel room door. The key was generic and another person from another room probably could have entered with ease. The main door downstairs was always constantly open so anyone from the street could walk in at any time. My suggestion would be to keep the outside door locked and provide a key to the guests and to have a different type of lock on the doors of the rooms.

  A very pleasant stay

  Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tropea. My spacious room featured a balcony perfect for sun-drying laundry, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom met all my needs. What made my experience truly memorable was the thoughtful, flexible hospitality. The hosts accommodated my schedule, picking me up at the train station on arrival and dropping me off at departure. They even gave me a helpful tour of the town, showing me how to navigate the area efficiently. The nearby beach was easily accessible via a short flight of stairs, and the town center was just a pleasant walk away. Overall, between the convenient location, comfortable room, and friendly support, my stay was absolutely delightful.
