  Clean, welcoming stay close to beautiful beaches

  Liked: We had a very pleasant stay. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed daily, which we really appreciated. Everything was very clean, and all the staff were polite, kind and accommodating throughout our stay. When we arrived, they had also left us a bottle of water with two glasses in the room, which was such a simple but very refreshing touch after coming in from the heat. The owners were also very thoughtful and let us borrow a beach umbrella every day. One thing that confused us before arriving was breakfast. From some previous reviews, I had understood that breakfast was available, but during our stay it was not offered, so it may be useful to check this in advance. The location is very good for the beaches. La Scalea beach is only about a 5-minute walk away, and Riaci beach around 10–15 minutes on foot. Tropea is a little further: around 30 minutes walking, but only about 3 minutes by train. Just keep in mind that trains to Tropea are not very frequent and can be around 2–3 hours apart, so it is important to check the timetable in advance. We also did not find a regular bus connection to Tropea. Overall, we had a very good experience and especially appreciated the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff and the proximity to some beautiful beaches.

  Disliked: The only inconvenience we experienced was one night when there was no hot/warm water, although on all the other days it worked normally.

  Very clean and nice

  Liked: It was nice and comfortable stay for us. The room is very clean and comfortable. The A/C is like a paradise in the room. The room has a little balcony where you can put your bathing suits to dry, very nice. If you do not explicitly ask for it, they clean your room every day. The lady in front of the desk was so sweet, she saw us how bad shape we were in (the heat) at the check in and gave us some cold water. They do not speak English very well but with translation it is not a problem at all. 8 mins walking distance to the train station. Liked every aspect of this place, recommend it

  Clean, comfortable, convenient!

  Liked: The property is very well maintained and super clean. The couple who own it are super sweet. Although the property isn’t in Tropea proper, it’s in Santa domenica (4 minute train ride to Tropea) and on the train line from Lamezia so super handy. Walk down to La Scalea beach as it’s one of the cleanest and most beautiful water I’ve ever seen. The little town has a few good cafes, restaurants and a supermarket and is small so easy to get around all about 3 minutes from the property. The train station is about an 8 minute walk.
