  Liked: Overall I had a nice time here (I only stayed for 3 nights). The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. The hosts were friendly, helpful and relaxed. Check-in, check-out and payment all went smoothly once the details had been clarified via WhatsApp.

  Disliked: The room was a little on the small side. As it was right next to the stairwell, I could sometimes hear other guests talking really loudly as they came and went, which was a minor annoyance.

  Liked: Lovely big room, great location. Clean bathroom and linen. Air conditioning worked well. Tropea was a very beautiful place to visit, loved it!

  Disliked: Can hear noise from guests in surrounding rooms. Not allowed to eat in your room.

  Liked: The apartment is beautiful—compact but with high ceilings and having a private bathroom for each bedroom was fantastic. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Tropea’s old town, yet surprisingly quiet at night. Unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived exhausted in the intense heat, the entry code we had been given didn’t work, and the room numbering was confusing. I called Anna on WhatsApp for help, and she seemed visibly annoyed and impatient. After several frustrating attempts, she eventually buzzed us in—something that could have been done immediately. The code to our room also didn’t work, so we had to use the electricity card as our room key until they brought us an additional card the following day. We are very reasonable travelers and understand that technical problems happen. What disappointed us was not the malfunctioning codes, but the impatient and unwelcoming attitude when we needed help. Interestingly, when I later went to reception to pay for parking and taxes, Anna was smiling and very pleasant. Overall, it’s a gorgeous apartment in an exceptional location, but a warmer, more helpful welcome would have made a big difference to our experience.

  Great location, and comfortable room

  Liked: Central location, we were in the modern room and it was spacious. The bedroom had a lot of storage space. Anna, our host, accommodate our request. We stayed in a triple room, the big bed mattress was firm, perfect. The little bed could do with a better mattress, although they had a mattress topper.

  Disliked: N/A. it’s good to know that there’s a set of stairs to get to your room, although we didn’t need help Anna offered to help us carry our luggage up the stairs.
