  Liked: Anna’s house is charming, with a traditional Italian style. Each room has its own small balcony and a refrigerator, and it was a pleasure to return there both in the middle of the day and late in the evening. On the first evening, we had an issue with a power outage, but fortunately it didn’t happen again during the rest of our stay. Anna is a kind and welcoming host who is attentive to her guests’ questions and feedback. We highly recommend this as a great place to stay near Tropea. Centre is within walking distance, and it’s even more convenient if you have a car. The beautiful Riaci Beach is also nearby, and we absolutely loved it. Anna does not speak much English, but Google Translate live conversations feature helps.

  The location is only suitable if you have a car but I would not return

  Liked: The home was lovely and our room and bathroom were very clean.

  Disliked: The communication was very poor even after we complained to Booking.com. I had called and texted several times requesting the WiFi info and NEVER RECEIVED any communication back our entire stay which was 4 nights. If we hadn’t passed the owner in the hallway we never would have gotten the WiFi connection. The towels were clean but very yellow in need of bleaching or better yet replacement. There were no toiletries in the shower forcing us to find a supermarket on foot for soap and shampoo. The breakfast was a BIG disappointment only prepackaged items that weren’t appealing. In order to make tea you had to bring the pot away from the setup and disconnect the mini fridge and plug it in all while kneeling on the floor. We had to go out for breakfast everyday despite having paid a higher room rent expecting a decent breakfast.

  The breakfast is … everything in the pack ( like basic pack of dry toast and jam )

  Liked: I don’t like the location, need a car, it is too far away to amenities. The owner the villa, don’t speak in English or even can’t communicate by phone. In this days by all technology in the world, we are have to use the mobile phone at least to communicate. Very bad service providing the owner.

  Disliked: Location is impossible to go the beach ( was blocked), no any shops around at all. Only by car. I’d trying by walk to go to the local shops to buy food, it take me 30 minutes, special on the summer which is very hot, not good at all.
