Fabulous
Great family location
Liked: Fantastic property with tons of amenities swimming pool hot tub and kids playground. There was also a BBQ outside our villa along with outdoor seating secure parking and brilliant staff - the site is build in the middle of an olive grove and is simply stunning. 10 min drive into the heart of Vieste. Whilst Wi-Fi is available its a but sketchy regarding steady connection. There are several friendly cats and we even had a beautiful friendly Fox visit us. Highly recommend hiring a boat for half a day to explore the coast and sea caves. I would highly recommend this location just remember the restrictions in self catering.
Disliked: The only real note is the lack of facilities in the kitchen no Kettle to boil water and no oven to prepare meals. Having said that the staff at the restaurant told us to bring any food we wanted cooked to them and they would do it. We brought 6 chicken portions over and the chief prepare us a beautiful meal with potatoes herbs and garlic it was delicious
Liked: - amazing swimming pool (3 areas: shallow, medium and deep) - the "villetta" was very big
Disliked: - no boiler, no microwave, no oven, and we could have used a couple more cutlery, pots, and pans.
Liked: Amazing restaurant, lovely pool, superb staff.
Disliked: The kitchen was lacking some equipment.
A week in Vieste
Liked: Beautiful property only a short drive from Vieste and all its gorgeous beaches. The rooms were large and comfortable, and each one is equipped with outdoor space for dining. The restaurant is also quite delicious, and there is a bar on site where you can get coffee, drinks and snacks throughout the day. The pool area is well maintained, and a welcome break from the heat! The staff were all incredibly kind.
Disliked: The kitchen lacks a few amenities - a moka pot for coffee, soap and a sponge for washing dishes, dish towels or paper towels. If you are the type who prefers making meals at home, just be prepared.
Highly recommended
Liked: The tenuta was located in a quiet area amongst olive groves, but very close to town and to the beaches. The restaurant area was beautifully decorated and the food and service were excellent. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple but had a kitchen area and patio that would be perfect for those who want to cook their own meals. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating and spoke good English. It was great value for what we paid and a very pleasant atmosphere. We arrived much later than planned and wished we would have stayed longer!
Liked: The location is amazing, everywhere you look it's perfect, all the little details are taken care of. Staff is friendly and always welcoming and available. The services on site are nice, the pool is clean and well kept and the laundry service it's free. We dined at the restaurant on site by the pool and the food was lovely. Accommodation was comfy and had everything we needed including air con. All in all we had a great time, it's a little slice of heaven.
