Our stay in Burgos was truly memorable and the flat was convenient, practical and comfortable!

Liked: The location was fantastic. We easily walked to the old town squares, cathedral and various restaurants/markets/shops each day and it was a pleasure to not have to use taxis or public transport. The flat was much quieter than we expected (being in the middle of the city). It was very hot when we were there and the adjustable window shutters were very handy for letting air in but keeping out noise at night.

Disliked: The bathroom was complete and fully functional but quite small so it required a bit of planning to get four people through the shower and toilet each day. Not really a problem, just a consideration for groups of more than two people. It took a bit of time to figure out the process of gaining access to the building. The host had sent a helpful set of images and a video link which outlined the process, but we still found ourselves standing outside the building trying to figure out which locks required codes, which required swipe buttons on our phones and which required keys or access cards. Once we made it inside, the set of keys and access cards found in the unit made it much easier from that point onwards, but the initial access was a bit challenging.

Location perfect but unhappy with delay and tone of response from hosts when we raised some of the issues above

Liked: Location excellent - everything walkable. Aware before arrival there was no air con but this wasn’t an issue for us.

Disliked: No soap in dispenser. Tv remote didn’t work and both these things took until the next day to fix, which given the high cost of the accommodation, we felt unfair. We didn’t cook but frying pans greasy and damaged and not ok to use. A slight smell of damp, too.

Very nice and even though the temperature outside was over 30 degrees the apartment was comfy

Liked: Very nice and well placed apartment next to the center. It had everything we needed and more.

Disliked: Nothing to complain about! Soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work and only shampoo in the shower. It’s easy to bring your own and fix the bottle of shampoo 🤗
