Exceptional
Liked: Great location. Owner provides basic breakfast food. Washer and dryer. Did I location. Right next to cathedral.
Disliked: Lots of stairs
We loved the apartment. I would stay there again. The location was perfect and the host was terrific
Liked: The location was wonderful. Right next to the cathedral as advertised. It was a nice apartment with all the amenities. It had one bedroom and a pull out couch, although it wasn’t obvious how to pull the couch out and the host had to provide directions. The host was wonderful and very helpful.
Disliked: It was a 3rd floor walk up. I had to carry my heavy luggage all the way up and down. If I’d known ahead of time, I might have packed lighter Getting to Burgos old town from the train station can only be done via taxi if you don’t have a car. Getting back to the airport was a bit of a challenge since we had an early train. This is true for most places in Burgos and not a specific negative about this property. The price was higher than I would normally expect but since it was during the eclipse, the price was typical of other accommodations. The owners must be quite a bit taller than us because the microwave controls were very high and the shower gel was very high.
Liked: Lovely details, apartment full of character, great location, host left breakfast for us and all the little things you need to use the apartment - milk/ bread/ oranges for juicing/ tea/ coffee/ toiletries/ toothpaste/ games/ dishwasher tabs and washing powder and much more - just perfect 👌
Excellent choice
Liked: Excellent location. The apartment had real character and a wonderful sense of history. We travel quite a lot, and I have to say that this was the first time we were welcomed with oranges so that we could make fresh orange juice. A big thank you to the host, because I have never seen such a generous selection of food items in an apartment. Very often, apartments do not even provide salt and pepper, but what was waiting for us here exceeded all expectations. A truly lovely and comfortable place to stay.
Disliked: We were a little confused when trying to find the apartment after entering the building. It would have been helpful to mention that the apartment is on the third floor and is apartment 3A, as that part was a bit unclear. It might also be worth noting that the apartment can only be reached by stairs. This was not an issue for us, as we had very little luggage, but it could be important information for some guests. My apologies if this information was already mentioned somewhere and we simply missed it.
Liked: The apartment in the center, cozy rooms, the comfortable beds, toys for kids.
Disliked: A lot of stairs. Parking is expensive and about 7- minutes walk with suitcases.
Liked: Lovely apartment, very clean. Great location, close to the Cathedral and the city’s social scene.
