    Liked: Location, Parking

Disliked: Room is not well sound isolated Breakfast is not good, specially when you put the price in the equation. There are more big round tables for huge groups than family tables for 4, or 2 people only.

    Liked: The location

Disliked: It is very run down now, and would strongly advise to look at other options that are a good 3 star.

Good- though not fantastic overnight in Burgos

Liked: I was there overnight heading to my next stop for eclipse sighting. And this was right before the eclipse so all hotels in Burgos were full and staff were busy. I did love the little extras of the 4 star hotel - kettle in the room (such a luxury); and real cups and glasses. My balcony overlooked the courtyard which had a bar and lovely setting. The furnishings were sparse for a 4 star hotel. But bed was comfortable and shower was great. Staff were helpful and friendly, and i was in walking distance of the historic area and of the bus station. I walked into the old town and did some sightseeing. Worth a second visit since Burgos has a lot to offer

Disliked: I suspect this was their "last room" and it was a bedroom and sitting room with pullout couch. However i also suspect no staff had visited/checked this room recently. (I arrived late morning and was told my room as available - great) I was pleased I had the sitting room but the entire space was occupied by the bed which was pulled out and fully made up. So nowhere to sit and have the "cuppa tea". The primary bedroom had no drawers in the piece of furniture that was meant for that purpose; it had one straight-backed chair and nowhere comfortable to sit. For a 4 star hotel - not a great look. Since i was there for one afternoon and night, I wrestled the very heavy pullout mattress back into the sofa, and enjoyed a well-earned tea break. I mention these details both for the hotel and for booking.com. As a single traveler, getting the strange seldom used hotel rooms is more common than it should be.
