Exceptional
Cuenca
Liked: Excellent location to see the Old Town and access the walking trails. Cuenca is truly a magical place. Romulo was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. He booked a taxi for us too when we were leaving. Great trip and stay at his cosy apartment. I recommend!!!

We had a great time. We enjoyed exploring the high area of Cuenca
Liked: The property was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We had a great stay there and plan to return. There was a regular bus route just yards from the property down to the lower area of Cuenca.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. We enjoyed the location as we liked exploring the trails in the surrounding area.
Fantastic centralized place to enjoy Cuenca main tourist sites
Liked: Good Stuff - nice touch of leaving behind some breakfast items - Very well decorated - Very well furnished. Great place for 5 people (one full bed, one twin bed and a sofa bed). - TV was great when watching the FIFA World Cup matches - washer and dryer perfect. Dryer rack is perfect! - Nice amount of kitchen utensils and dishes - Fantastic WiFi
Disliked: Odd design of a sunken living room but it was manageable.

Apartment with Stairs
Liked: The property had washer and dryer. Location was good close to the bridge to see the Cogadas but a bit far from challenging uphill from the near by supermarket. Provided with jams, olive oils and salts and biskets. The apartment was apcaious
Disliked: While a washer and dryer are provided, laundry detergent is not included; it would be a great addition, even for a small fee. Additionally, the electric kettle is quite dangerous—I unfortunately suffered a steam burn on my arm and feel guests should be warned. There was also a slight odor in the apartment due to poor water drainage and no windows to open for air circulation other than the one in the kitchen. Finally, the property is difficult to find as the entrance is located in an adjacent alley rather than the main street. Be aware that the layout requires navigating a lot of stairs: there are steep stairs just to reach the elevator, and inside the apartment, there are two separate flights—one leading to the bedrooms and bathroom, and another to the kitchen.
Great little apartment in a fantastic location
Liked: Fantastic location. Our host kept in touch to make sure we were ok. All the main sites are within walking distance and it's in the heart of the historic part of Cuenca. Very homely apartment. Clean and tidy with everything you need for a short stay. The welcome chocolates were a nice touch. Fantastic gastro pub just across the street. The Piola has amazing wines. Give it a try. Also free parking just up the street.
Disliked: No aircon. Just fans but we managed although it was a very hot time of year.
