It could be better
Liked: The location is great.
Disliked: The place where you pick up the keys is very far from where you actually stay, so you have to drag your luggage all around the city. And Cuenca is a city full of uphill and downhill streets. The checkout time is 12 p.m., but there’s nowhere to store your luggage. You can only go back to the place where you picked up the keys, but they only have lockers and they charge by the hour—it’s completely inhumane. I’ve never encountered a hotel that doesn’t allow temporary luggage storage and even charges guests for it. There’s also no power outlet near the microwave in the room, so I don’t even know why it’s placed there. Are guests supposed to move the microwave somewhere else just to use it? The room also doesn’t have a kettle, nor are there any instructions on how to use the electric stove.
After initial disappointment in having to resolve access issues, we enjoyed our stay
Liked: As I know the area, it was a good location for me. Convenient for new town and old town. Plenty of shops and bar/restaurants nearby.
Disliked: Instructions for gaining access were very poor. Entrance is at rear, but not indicated in messages. Only photo outside shows blue frontage, not rear which is white. Booked as two bedrooms (we are brother and sister) but one bedroom was locked on arrival. No kettle, coffee machine incomplete, no batteries in remote to control heating, electric hob not functioning properly.

Disliked: Batteries in candle lights were empty, should be replaced, it is a minor thing.
