Fabulous
Good place to stay in Cuenca
Liked: We spent just one night in the property but everything was good. Good location, in downtown Cuenca and close to supermarkets and restaurants. The old town was just a 15 minutes walk. Place was clean, comfortable beds, with all the amenities you need if you need to cook. I'd recommend this place if you are not looking for something fancy.
Disliked: It was just hard to find a parking slot on the street. I had to park in a private parking located in the same street and was charged 22 euros for the night. I thought that was a bit too much, considering you are not in a major city. Not the property fault though.
We had a lovely few days exploring Cuenca and the surrounding countryside
Liked: Just the little things were lacking. No electric kettle or stovetop kettle. Had to use a saucepan. No teabags. Plenty of coffee pods but the coffee maker didn’t work. Crockery and glassware was deficient. The parking worked well - a little bit of a walk but there was always a spot. Good location and walkable to the old town. The last blemish - not the fault of the host - the morning of our departure the lift broke down so we had the lug our suitcases down the 3 levels.
