  Liked: Totally renovated country house. If preordering dinner, you will be served a homegrown and very delicious meal. The owners are very friendly. A place we always will remember. Can definitely recommend to stay here

  Liked: The rural location in a small village was quiet and just what we wanted. The building has been beautifully restored, it's comfortable and the staff were fantastic. The food was excellent, and it was extremely convenient to be able to visit Las Medulas.

  Glorious wake-ups at this lovely solana /solarium!

  Liked: Very nice young couple running the place, a beautifully restored traditional house. Within a short distance (by car) from Las Médulas, and far less crowded. Breakfast was adequate. If we ever return to Las Médulas, to see all those chestnut an oak trees in autumn colours, this will be first choice.

  Disliked: I would recommend some investment in sound insulation. (The couple next door kept talking throughout the first night, probably a bit too excited about the eclipse next day...) Fans might be useful during tropical nights - we did without them, but not in all rooms can you get a draft without opening the room door. A small fridge in each room might be useful, but the owners cooperated perfectly, giving us access to the big fridge downstairs.

  Liked: Fantastic casa rural, run by the most inviting and helpful couple. All food served was homegrown and -made, and absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful stay here on the camino invierno.
