A beautiful small hotel in a great location in the golden city

Liked: A beautiful, relatively large room with good seating, nice bathroom and view out to St Stephen’s. Great staff. Lovely public spaces (if under-utilised). Impeccably presented.

Disliked: The service at breakfast was slow but they were very pleasant. An opportunity to improve would be to make better use of the public spaces by organising happy hours for guests to meet and greet or provide tea/coffee making.

for what we wanted it was fine

Liked: it was a nice old fashioned clean comfortable boutique hotel, great location

Disliked: it lacked atmosphere, only one area for relaxing, on more than one occasion, i had to go looking for staff who were very helpful and nice.

Super Short Stay in Sunny Salamanca

Liked: The location was perfect, being right in the old part of the city and within easy walking distance of all the main sights. There was none of the usual stress of underground car parks with tiny spaces and dim lighting; one pulls up right outside the hotel and that's the last one sees of the car before departure thanks to the cheerful and efficient valet parking. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant, Ment, was superb. Not only was the food some of the best I have tasted in Spain but the restaurant was also open for dinner at 7:30pm which is a rarity in this country.
