Exceptional
Liked: We had a wonderful time here, once some initial problems were sorted. Would recommend staying here. Staff very prompt and helpful with problems. Great, comfy apartment in prime location, a few steps from the main Plaza Mayor, so you could open the balcony windows and feel part of the action while lying on the sofa! Good double glazing and the bedroom was soundproof and light proof. Dishwasher. Supermarket a few minutes away.
Disliked: When we arrived there was no elevator and no wifi, both quite important features for us. We had to piggyback wifi off another apartment, which was unreliable. The building residents had stopped the elevator for repairs, so we had to carry suitcases up the steps. Toaster and shower spray were broken and some small areas had not been cleaned. Also, bedsheet was straight on top of mattress, with no washable mattress protector, which is not hygienic. However, the staff were fantastic and problems were sorted very promptly and with a smile. A wifi booster worked well. I offerred to do some cleaning myself, as most of the apartment was fine, but they sent a cleaner straight in. We were offered 2 alternative apartments. Still no lift, but we managed on the stairs.

Lovely apartment, responsive staff
Liked: The apartment is beautiful and located steps off of the Plaza Mayor. The staff is incredibly responsive, within two minutes when you WhatsApp them and I was bothering them on Easter Sunday. They were very kind about it. Everything you need is supplied and I really enjoyed my time here.
Disliked: When you first arrive there's no way to actually get in the building. All of the door instructions are for the interior door. If you meet a kindly neighbor and speak a little Spanish they will let you in. I think usually someone meets you outside and does this, but I missed my train, and arrived later than expected on the Saturday of semana santa, however I managed to get in just fine.

Liked: I had a wonderful stay at HomyAT PRIOR ORUS in Salamanca. The team provided great support, and the location was perfect, close to the main square and shops. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The internet was reliable and fast, and the window insulation effectively blocked out most of the noise from the busy area. Highly recommended for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay in Salamanca!
