A simple but clean and comfortable place to discover Santander
Liked: The owner was very nice and provided many useful tips. The room was very clean and walking distance from the centre, just by the bus stop and close to local restaurants and bars.
Disliked: The sound isolation could be improved. It’s not great to be woken up by other guests taking a shower.
I would definitely stay again at Hostal San Fernando
Liked: The host was very kind and helpful. She provided late check in since we arrived after check in hours and was always available for everything. The room was the impeccably clean, and it was cleaned every day of our stay. There was coffee and biscuits as a complementary breakfast. I enjoyed my stay at Hostal San Fernando very much and I would definitely recommend it.
Liked: Fantastic staff, super welcoming and have great advice on things to do. This place is so clean, it is spotless. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Totally recommend the place
Liked: The room was super nice, incredibly clean, and located almost right in the center of everything! There were two of us, and the price was super cheap considering how clean, quiet, and close to everything the room was. But the absolute highlight of our stay was Natasha. From the moment we arrived, she responded to our messages instantly and was so sweet, gentle, and always smiling. She was always available whenever we needed anything!

Liked: 1. The hostess, Natalia was amazing. She was so helpful and communicative throughout my travel to the accommodation. She took time to write on a map with suggested places to eat, sights to see and things to do. 2. The room and "Hostel" (it was more like a mini hotel) was spotlessly clean. Natalia asked me every morning if it was okay for her to change the towels and/or sheets. It wasn't always needed but it was offered. 3. The location is almost right in the middle of town. It's only a 10 minute walk from the main bus station and about a 2 minute walk from a big strip of bars and restaurants. At night (about 10 or 11) it could get a little loud if your room faces into the square like mine did, but that's because of the times Spaniards generally eat. It doesn't go on too late though so it's fine. 4. Natalia's Spanish was great and her English was VERY good. She's still learning and appreciates the practice as long as you're patient. Overall I'd absolutely recommend staying here. The price is a fraction of most other hotels in the area and it's honestly like a little hotel in itself. If you're like me and you just need a clean and comfortable room, then this is the place.
