Exceptional
Liked: Very well equipped appartment, with everything you might need even for a longer stay. Santander center easily reachable by several bus lines, and supermarket nearby.
Disliked: Although it is not property's fault, the noise from upstairs neighbors kept waking us up at night
A pleasant, homely apartment with many thoughtful touches
Liked: The apartment has a homely feel, with many thoughtful details, and there was everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including a very well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. Checking-in instructions were easy to follow. The apartment is in a residential area, well served by buses - frequent buses on one route stop nearly outside the house, and several others stop nearby, making it easy to get into the town centre or to the beaches without a car. A couple of local shops and a larger supermarket are all within a five minute walk.
Disliked: Neighbouring dogs can be noisy at times, though at night the area is very quiet.
I was put off by noisy neighbours
Liked: Apartment was good, location not good for city even though there is a bus stop outside bus only hourly not really a problem. La Muruca beach was reasonably close, a bit cold in April but fantastic walks around the coast
Disliked: my main bug bear was the noisy people above. I lived in Spain for 14 years and had a neighbour who was constantly renovating his house I just met his brother. Not much of a city view in fact none

I didn't want to leave!
Liked: I truly felt that I was in a real home. Really comfortable furniture, a sofa I could lay on and read a book by the reading lamp, a FULLY equipped kitchen, with everything you need...I felt like I was staying in a friend's place. It's homey and cozy. There're even candles! The host was very accommodating and let me arrive a little early, which I appreciated. Honestly, I didn't want to leave.
Disliked: I don't want to say anything bad because I loved it so much, but I always leave honest reviews. The ONE and ONLY thing I didn't like was it's quite noisy during the day in summer with windows open, with traffic on the road and the neighbors on the patio below (I loved having a bit of outdoor space, though!), and some construction sounds from the area. At night, though, it was blissfully quiet. Of course, this is completely out of the host's control, but if you're sensitive to noise, this could bother you.
