Good
Liked: Beautiful area, cheap
Disliked: Receptionist not present, bathroom quite poorly cleaned, loud space/thin walls, was told I could do laundry but the staff never did it for me
Ok in a pinch if other places are full
Liked: It wasclean and the beds were comfortable
Disliked: It was ill equipped. There was 1 toilet and 1 shower for 10 people. You couldn't use the toilet while someone was in the shower for privacy reasons. Plus the toilet stall was so tiny your knees hit the door. I'm short (72 inches). I can't imagine being taller. There were no hooks in the bathroom so no place to put tour stuff while in the shower. There was no laundry sink so you had to either pay for an expensive washer or wash things out in the tiny bathroom sink. There were no clothes lines or drying racks. The hospitalero did not offer a sello or tell us where things were.
Great value for money while cycling through the mountains
Liked: Great value for money stop-over. Good local supermarket and fab cafe in walking distance at the Cepsa garage. Stored my bike safely inside the hostal.
Liked: Location was good for me
Disliked: Although check- in was 5pm there was no-one around and they were reluctant to answer phonecalls. I had to ring two different numbers 5 times and wait 30 minutes before I was let in and then not given the room that I'd booked. When I went out for dinner at 6:30 there were 5 booked guests sitting on their luggage unable to contact the host and locked out When I left in the morning, I had to use my key to get out a door that is a designated fire exit. All fire exits MUST be able to be opened from the inside.
A great place to explore the area
Liked: Beautiful building, great community in the village, very welcoming, lots of freedom to be yourself, spacious communal rooms, Fantastic swimming pool in the village, lots of interesting things in the area.
Disliked: The professional kitchen is not available for regular guests, the only cooking facilities were a single plug-in hob and a microwave. We bought a kettle for the kitchen, hopefully that’s useful for future guests:-) it’s also recommended to bring your own toilet paper.
Liked: It was the last night on my bicycle journey from Huelva to Gijon and it was perfect. I was almost alone in the whole building, I had hot water and silence! I didn't have a sleeping bag with me, so the hostess gave me a one-time bed linen — perfect! A good restaurant Casa Ezequiel is nearby, though not easily accessible by foot.
