Good
Comfortable stay
Liked: A nice room and big bathroom with a separate bath and shower. It was a bit dated but perfectly fine. The woman on reception was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was fairly simple but I was cycling and needed carbs so freely available toast and jam were great. I’d stay here again if I was in the area.
Disliked: It was about a kilometre into town down the hill, but I knew the location when I booked so not a big problem.
Robo
Liked: There was nothing to like. We had booked an evening meal but were told the restaurant was closed. We were on a cycling holiday and had no access to a car in order to find a restaurant after a hard days ride. We ended up at a supermarket buying bread and cheese at to top it all it was raining. The staff were unhelpful and offhand. Breakfast was nothing to shout home about with toast, dried croissants and old biscuits. The coffee which we had to wait for was horrible.
