Fabulous
Small but comfortable
Liked: It was comfortable and staff were helpful. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Just the walk up the steep hill to access the hotel from the town
A lovely little hotel with such charming character, amazing views too!

Hotel du Chateau is a wonderful place to stay in the old quarter of Annecy
Liked: I liked everything about this hotel. It was an easy walk from the train station. It was up on hill, which meant that the views from my cozy room and the detached terrace were stunning. Both nights I watched, from the terrace, the sunset behind the town of Annecy casting a pink glow on the alpes in the distance. The hotel owners were wonderful people who were welcoming and helpful, especially when I needed to replace my suitcase. They directed me to a nearby shop. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Their sweet dog (Paco??) was an adorable greeter each time I approached the hotel.
Disliked: There was nothing that I didn't like.

staying in the mediaeval village was amazing
Liked: the room was small but its europe. loved the big windows overlooking the city it was comfortable and clean loved smell of the bakery wherever it was not sure but the smell of fresh bread would wake me up each morning so nice the breakfast was wonderful very fresh
Disliked: cant think of anything everything was great
