    Exceptional property and host!

Liked: Phillipe is an exceptional host. The property is beautiful with secure on site parking in a very quiet street very close to Bayeux old town. Phillipe provides a continental breakfast delivered to your door every day. All in all an fantastic break, we would highly recommend.

Disliked: Spiral staircase to bedroom may cause difficulty for less mobile guests.

We really enjoyed our stay and chatting with Philippe

Liked: The host, Philippe, was outstanding - he even went with me to get my rental car through the barrier after hours. Fresh buns and croissants were provided daily, to go with the water, juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt and cheese that was provided at the outset and refilled as needed. The apartment is spacious and tastefully furnished. Bright kitchen space with a lovely decor and an espresso machine. There is also a lovely garden to sit, relax and enjoy some wine. Private, gated parking was also really appreciated.

Disliked: Note that the bedroom is on a different floor than the toilet and driving to the property can be difficult due to one way streets.

Not the best setup for summer or older guests

Liked: Excellent location and breakfast was good. Nice bathroom. Owner provided a ride to the train station.

Disliked: We understand that AC in Europe is a luxury; however there is no excuse for not having fans available for guests. This is a two story apartment, the bedroom is upstairs, the second story is the hottest. Windows only on one side with no cross ventilation. The spiral suitcase is not safe if you’re over 65. Coffee from the coffeemaker was disgusting.

Nothing was missed by our landlord. The location was perfect, quiet but accessible

Liked: The decor was lovely and well done.

Disliked: The spiral stair to the bedroom are necessary but would be an issue for older, less mobile guests. Not exactly dislike but should be pointed out.
