  Liked: The location was very good, easy to locate. Fred was very welcoming and enjoyable to talk to upon our arrival. Other staff were polite. The bed was comfortable.

  Disliked: There was a lack of attention given to refilling soap dispensers, replenishing toilet paper without having to ask for more everyday, removal and replacement of glassware daily replacing or repairing light fixtures that did not work. Non existent humidity control in the bathroom as you could see the condensation dripping down the bathroom walls. Reading in earlier reviews, the breakfast descriptions included various meats, fresh fruit each morning, we did not experience this once during our five mornings. The exact same limited items were offered, no variety. Very disappointing considering the cost. No common room or lounge for the guests to mingle or have a place to sit outside the guest rooms.

  Disliked: Not enough food at breakfast ran out of breads, fruit. Extremely important to have enough food for guests and be able to replenish supplies

  We had a wonderful one night stay here on our trip through Normandy. Could’ve stayed longer

  Liked: We had a great warm welcome from Frederick. Parking on site and the breakfast was lovely. The room suited our needs and it’s very central for exploring Bayeux.

  Great location. Should consider adding either AC or dehumidifier to combat moisture

  Disliked: No air conditioning, which I understand is common in France, but because of the humidity, everything stayed damp.
