  Glad we were there. Bayeux is a wonderful town to stay in

  Liked: Everything!

  Disliked: The stairs were a little difficult for us, especially after touring Normandy all day. But, we’re both 79 so you have to expect some challenges.

  The perfect place to experience French food & people

  Liked: Lovely home in the heart of old Bayuex. Our host was very kind and helpful. This 18th century home is beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Excellent location to experience the town prior to the trip to the Normandy beaches and museums. We felt very safe walking everywhere. Ten minute ride from train station and 10 minute walk to tour departure.

  Disliked: We normally stay at hotels, so it was a little different (in a good way); because it is an individuals home, the host may be out and about with daily things we all do. Just be sure to specify arrival time and reach out to host. He was very accomodating and helpful.

  Excellent location, very well decorated house

  Liked: Host was very friendly and a gentleman. Breakfast room is like an art gallery with many antiques.
