  A perfect stay in Bayeux (in a 15th century tower)

  Liked: The location was just a short walk to the abbey. There was plenty of free parking in the neighborhood. Wow staying in a 15th century building. The suite was nicely decorated and spacious for two people. And the special daily breakfast was a great touch to start the day. We really enjoyed the quaintness of this stay for our visit to Bayeux, D Day sites and Mont St Michel

  The B&B felt very welcoming

  Liked: Very quaint. Nicely decorated.

  Disliked: The spiral stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit difficult with the luggage.

  What a stunning venue! Lovely stay, would go back in a heart beat

  Liked: Beautiful venue! Picturesque, amazing location, extremely spacious and good facilities in the room.

  Disliked: Being such an old property, easy to hear people in the room above. Luckily they didn’t make too much noise.

  Beautiful manor with superb breakfast

  Liked: It was beautiful and conveniently located and walkable to many of the city’s attractions and restaurants. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and had everything we needed. There was a Nespresso machine in the room and the host had made a fan available. The breakfast was superb.

  Disliked: We were aware that this was an old manor but the room being on the 2nd floor required us to walk up 35 + steps (triangle shaped) carrying our bags. This may not be the best location or property for older people. In addition, we thought we had “free parking” which we did but in reality the parking is free on the streets of the city and it’s up to you to find it. Sometimes it’s nearby, and sometimes it’s two blocks away. Be aware if you are not travelling light - both with regards to parking and steps.
