  Liked: Excellent location close to beaches and harbour. Good size room. Lift. Appreciated ironing board and iron.bed a bit soft but slept well

  Disliked: Mould on ceiling and in bathroom. A bit of a walk to bus. A kettle and coffee sachets but no cup!!!

  Somewhere you can book again if going back to Biarritz

  Liked: Great location- less than 5 minutes to the beach, complete amenities including a fridge, spacious room, great price too!

  Disliked: Can be noisy at night- I guess because of it’s location on the main street

  Location good, but extremely noisy

  Liked: The best part of staying at the Hotel Marbella was the location and the friendliness of the staff.

  Disliked: My room was extremely noisy. You can hear everything happening in any adjacent room - upstairs, across the hall, next door, etc. There are bars all around and you can hear the music pumping until all hours of the night. To top it off, the woman staying in the room next to me had an issue with her lock and they were trying to get her in to her room until midnight - banging on the lock, loud conversations in various languages as to how to go about remedying the situation, drilling the lock out, etc. This went on until after midnight. Then someone was back the next day at 8:30am to recommence the drilling, banging, etc. Then there was the group of young women staying down the hall who were whooping it up, screaming, hollering, etc. It sounded like they were having a good old time, unfortunately it was not as much fun for me:). In short, don't expect to get much rest if you're staying in this hotel. The other thing I will note is that cleanliness was not top of their agenda. The carpet on the stairs looked like it had never been cleaned, there was dust and dirt on the top of the light switches and the baseboards, stains on the ceiling of the bathroom and mold in the shower. The sheets were clean, though, so that was good. I would not stay here again despite the good location. There are plenty of other hotels in the area and hopefully they have better sound insulation.
