  Very welcoming hotel in beautiful historic mansion

  Liked: The hotel is in an historic mansion which has been beautifully restored with lots of antiques and art work. There are many comfortable areas to sit, including the very beautiful back yard, which has a swimming pool and some hammocks. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and fun to talk to. The location is within walking distance to the historic medieval city as well as the new parts of Carcassonne.

  Charming historic mansion

  Liked: Charming historic mansion, a former family home. Beautiful decor. Great food. Lovely pool area. Easy walk to La Cité. Gracious hosts. Terrific views.

  Disliked: There are a lot of stairs if you have mobility issues.

  Liked: Charming old style interior, wonderful location in terms of proximity to the citadel, great onsite EV charging and secure parking (very important to us).

  Disliked: Location on a main road and initial impression was worrying as the building looks shabby and uncared for from the outside which is not at all representative of the lovely interior.
