  Definitely an amazing location, comfortable, and fairly well provisioned - worth a go!

  Liked: One of the best locations in Carcassonne, with an unrivalled view of the Bastide, (see my night picture from the main window). Quiet, but with plenty of good restaurants nearby. I would especially recommend Casa Maria on the rue de Trivalle.

  Disliked: There were some lightbulbs that didn’t work, and the internet was a bit on the slow side. This is definitely not a dealbreaker for me!

  A beautiful city, and ideally located apartment which would be perfect with a few small additions

  Liked: The apartment location was great, with a fabulous view, and a short walk from both the new and medieval cities, with plenty of places to eat close by

  Disliked: We were only given one towel each, so nothing for hair washing or when washing hands. Neighbours were out in front of the apartment making noise until almost midnight

  Very noisy and dusty

  Liked: No breakfast provided by host. Living area was good. Apartment was cool and there was a fan available. View at night was lovely. Bed was comfortable.

  Disliked: Bedrooms were a little austere. Main problem was the Square directly outside the apartment was being renovated from 8am until 5pm so we had the noise of angle grinders cutting stone and diggers whilst eating our breakfast. Very noisy and clouds of dust right outside the front door. The details of the property stated quiet road but it certainly won't. The work had obviously been going on for some time but we weren't informed of this. We contacted the host but was told she couldn't do anything. We are not happy with the response and would suggest people ask the host if the work has been completed before booking.

  Brilliant we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the accomodation and Carcassonne

  Liked: Location was perfect as we were going to spend most of our time in the medieval cite

  Disliked: There were major works taking place in the remodelling of the square whilst we were there and access over our visit got more awkward. No fault of the property and I expect that once complete this qill make the property and the square a real visitor experience.
