  Great once I got in

  Liked: Close to town centre, station, canal du midi. Solidly built building and large room. Bed comfy. Initial difficulty in that i recieved no coms from landlord. No answer to phonecalls. Reply to my message was that they had no booking for me and that i was mistaken. Later they sent entry codes after i told them i had receipt and would meet at set time in local bar. Once in I was pleasantly suprised by room and bathroom.

  Liked: Basically a glorified bnb but with zero communication. I didn’t know until after I booked that it was going to be a no contact check-in. Even though they say you will be contacted with check-in info 24 hours before, we were not notified until 5 minutes before check-in. Bathroom smells of sewage, bed is thin and hard, pillows are both too big and very uncomfortable to sleep, you hear everything from your neighbors, hot because you are under the roof.

  Liked: Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy.
