  A lovely boutique hotel in Chinon, which is a good base for some of the Loire attractions

  Liked: Fabulous ambience. Lots of attention to detail and the outside area was lovely. Gated parking down the road from the hotel was the deal breaker when choosing to stay given that we had a full boot. Really useful tips from friendly staff… don’t miss the glass lift to get up to the fort. There looked to be a lovely Lebanese restaurant on the corner of the street.

  Disliked: My husband is 6 ft 3 so bed a bit short. However that is the case in many hotels and we should perhaps have upgraded to a bigger room

  Liked: The hotel was clean the staff were excellent.

  Disliked: The cups in our room did not have handles so you could not hold them to drink your Tea or coffee because it being hot.

  A great place to stay in Chinon

  Liked: Lovely independent hotel across the river from the historic town centre of Chinon. The private parking was a blessing as the town was exceptionally busy due to an event. I particularly liked the freshly made ciron juice at breakfast
