  Liked: Freedom to self cater parking was fab

  Disliked: Location was a bit of a trek to centre but we got buses no problem, hotel rooms were clean and spacious but a bit dated.

  Liked: Location next door to the beach and restaurants.

  Disliked: The electric cooker takes a fair amount of time to boil an 🥚especially after it blew the fuse back to the main board. The electrician on site fixed it in a few minutes but it still took it's time boiling water. So only a three 🥚🥚🥚 score for the cooker.

  Extremely disappointing and very misleading photos

  Liked: Unfortunately, very little. The location near the port and beach was convenient, and the property itself has a swimming pool, although we were unable to use it due to the limited access hours.

  Disliked: We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We booked for 3 people and paid extra for the additional bed, but the room was so incredibly small that it did not feel suitable for 3 people at all. Simply squeezing a single bed into an already tiny room does not make it suitable for an additional guest. In fact, hotel rooms are often larger than this. The photos in the advert were very misleading. The room we were given looked nothing like the attractive, decorated rooms shown in the pictures. Ours was essentially a plain white, cramped room with a kitchen sink and counter pushed into it, with none of the decor shown in the advert. The bathroom was also very different from what we expected. The toilet was separated from the bathroom, and instead of the shower shown in the photos, there was a bathtub. The slats/supports on the additional single bed kept falling off whenever my daughter moved, which was extremely uncomfortable and concerning. There was no air conditioning, and the room was warm. We couldn't properly open the window because the roof of the neighbouring building was immediately outside and had a huge puddle of standing water in front of the window, meaning rain could splash into the room. Even though we didn't need the heater, it also looked visibly dirty. The pool is not accessible 24 hours, so despite booking a property advertised with a pool, we couldn't use it because we arrived late due to traffic. The corridors were very plain, white and eerie rather than welcoming or cosy, and the door to our room was also difficult to open. Overall, the accommodation felt cramped, uncomfortable and very different from what was presented in the listing. We were so disappointed that, despite usually leaving accommodation at the last possible moment on checkout day, today we were happy to leave as soon as possible.

  Would recommend

  Liked: The pool was definitely the best asset 🌴 Being so close to the beach was amazing too, especially with the ocean breeze coming in and helping out with the heat. We didn't even have to use the fan! Everything was straightforward and simple; enough for our 1 week stay.

  Disliked: Because it's in Les Minimes, there are a lot of tourists and it could get noisy. It's usually not a problem, but would get annoying at nights.
