  A decent stay which could be improved

  Liked: Hotel was easy to find and what's very important it is very close to Perrache station which makes it very easy to visit the city or get to where you need to go. Room was also very clean and was cleaned daily which we appreciated.

  Disliked: The hotel was renovating its ground floor and breakfast room; as such, we only found out AFTER booking that we couldn't get a warm breakfast which we'd paid for and is important for us when travelling. They were nice and agreed to cancel the breakfast as we didn't want the packaged breakfast they were offering. But while breakfast is a passing issue and it will go away, the windows in the rooms are horrendous. There is zero sound proofing and everything happening outside, you hear. I could count all the trams passing by and every conversation happening in front of the hotel. I could only fall asleep after things calmed down outside. For a 4 star hotel I find this unacceptable.

  Loveky pleasant hotel

  Liked: Location was great,transport,shops and resturants close,breakfast was nice. Great view from balcony.

  Liked: Room was very comfortable and size was just big enough for two of us. Bathroom facilities good and clean. Room was very quiet Good location to walk into the old part of Lyon. Nice craft beer pub directly opposite.

  Disliked: Local restaurants near hotel not that impressive But 20 minute walk into Lyon centre and there are numerous choices to please all palates.

  Great location!

  Liked: The staff on the front desk were excellent, providing directions and tourist information, including local restaurants (which are hard to find on a Sunday when most in the area are closed.) We had a beautiful view of the city including the sunrise every morning. The newly renovated room and bathroom were very nice. I loved the lighted mirror and towel warming rack in the bathroom. The room was very quiet and the breakfast was good. The location was perfect. We had great weather and walked everywhere - from our river cruise ship, to the shops and square at Place Bellecour and also to the Old Town.

  Disliked: The bed was very comfortable but squeaked every time you rolled over. The biggest surprise was that the hotel was under renovation. All the public spaces were unfinished drywall. The outside garden was a construction zone. but there was a small patio available (mostly used as a smoking area.) Due to the renovation, our tv didn't work, but the staff managed to get us a few channels. Unfortunately there were no tech staff available on the weekend. After we inquired, the manager kindly provided a small refund for the inconvenience. Also due to the renovation, the safe was not screwed down, given it's small size it could easily be picked up and carried away. The reno should be done in January 2027 and it will be beautiful when complete. (Despite all this, we did enjoy our stay and the location.)

Please note that only the Superior Double/Twin Room can accommodate an extra bed. Extra bed must be requested in advance and is for a child aged 13 years and younger.
