  Nice hotel in a fairy tale village

  Liked: Very big room for 2 adults and 2 kids (number 30) and amazing location with a view to the Koenigsbourg castle on the hill in front. Also the village of Saint-Hippolyte is amazing. Breakfast OK (with the possibility to drink some Alsatian bubbles). Possible to eat at the restaurant. The choice is limited to only one main dish starter and dessert, but they were good and tasty (and not so expensive). The free car parking just in front of the hotel was also very convenient. The indoor swimming pool was also OK (a bit annoying that you cannot bring rooms towels to the pool)

  Disliked: The hotel is a bit dated, but overall clean. Perhaps not so cheap, but I booked quite late.

  Liked: Restaurant was very nice and waiting staff very good.good view from balcony.

  Disliked: The room only had a few bulbs working so was very dark,bath was very old and stained,the shower was a mixed shower with no wall fitting, so had to kneel in bath to have a shower.

  Could return only as business traveller - ok value

  Liked: Well, the hosts are extremely friendly, in some point you could be lost, where are you? It's magical mix of surrounding cultures. Not sure, is it Apls, or France or Germany or Italy.

  Disliked: Breakfast was overcrowded and staying too late, means you probably have 2 issues to deal with: no plates, no seating or just no more food:O

  Liked: À great place to stay on the way down to Italy. Nice set dinner menu, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast.
