  Perfect for short stay with few nice touches

  Liked: Interesting, fun decor for an Ibis. 2 small sitting areas and good restaurant. Food surprisingly good. Room was simple but comfortable with good shower. Pool and garden looked nice but we didn’t use due to wet weather.

  Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Had an excellent sleep. Easy to get from and back to motorway with a huge parking lot. Lidl supermarket directly opposite the carpark entrance. We drove down to Saint Jean de Luz but very narrow streets, lots of pedestrians and no parking. So parked at hotel and walked into the town which took about 30 minutes. The town is beautiful. Breakfast excellent variety of cold foods. Has a restaurant for evening meals.

  Disliked: No kettle in room to make a hot drink.

  Pleasant hotel, worth a visit

  Liked: The man on reception was very friendly, and spoke excellent English, which we appreciated very much. The restaurant and lounge areas were large, clean, and well presented. Plenty of parking, and easy to find. The gardens were beautiful and open to guests.

  Disliked: Rooms a little bit small - but we were only there for one night so we coped.

  Nothing to add, as this was only an overnight stay

  Liked: My satnav let me down and directed me to the wrong location, however the lady on reception (I think an owner) went out of her way to help me find the hotel. She understood the stress all this caused and graciously gave my wife and I an upgrade on our room.

  Disliked: Our room had a separate toilet and shower/bathroom. The toilet was a bit cramped.
