  Liked: Great location, lots of good restaurants for evening meals, very close to Palace. Just be aware 72 steps up narrow staircase to apartment..fine for us, but not for everyone! Apartment clean and quiet.

  Disliked: Unable to find extra bedding, it got a bit chilly.needed a douvet.also old bedding still in machine? Not sure why. Light kept coming on on stairway..may we suggest a blackout blind at kitchen window

  Comfortable & really well located to see the glorious palace of Versailles

  Liked: It’s very cute. A mix of old feeling and modern. Bed is comfortable. It has everything you need for a short stay. Is well located - a few mins walk from Versailles palace & lots of bars & restaurants nearby. We spent a whole day touring the palace which was amazing

  Disliked: The spiral staircase is a killer - with your luggage and after each hard day of walking. I banged my head on the beams more than once. The place was clean but a bit odd in that the washing machine was full of laundry & there was a hoover in the wardrobe. We also struggled to find the property. Taxi driver didn’t know the road. It was bad luck that there was a thunder & lighting heavy rain storm as me arrived. Gaining entry was tricky as there are 2 staircases and we went (4 flights) up the wrong one. I found the message about checking out a bit rude too - as if it was expecting us to be late & leave dirty dishes. Also the listing shows a view of the palace - and that is not visible from the window so it’s a bit misleading.

  Extremely poor and disappointing stay

  Liked: The location was very central to wine bars and restaurants. A fairly quiet location. Within walking distance to transport locations and Versailles Palace.

  Disliked: The entrance was dark and then having to climb 72 steps with luggage up a narrow winding staircase to the property was very challenging. Of which there was no mention of this in the description. Found one bed made but however the sofa bed required sheets and we had to hunt around for them. The washer had previous clients bedding washed and left in so would have had to take out and dry had we wanted to use the machine. Only 2 bath towels of grey thready state no hand towel. A charge would be levelled for another towels during 3 night stay. We felt very unsafe as could not locate smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector or a fire escape. Could not get tv to work.No hand soap in toilet. Beware of the low beams knocked head a few times. Interestingly the guest comment book appeared to have had pages torn out. Due to all of this we are extremely surprised at some of the good reviews. We would not stay again.

  Very good!

  Liked: The communication with the host was very good! She was available and always nice to provide us with all the information!

  Disliked: I would suggest to instal air conditioning....it was a bit hot during the day. But we could sleep well at night....so not big deal!

  Liked: Great location Clean Nice kitchen and bath area

  Disliked: 2nd bed was not comfortable Beams in ceiling are very low, making it too low to walk around much of the attic apartment Noisy music at night until 3:00 as we had to have window open as apartment was hot
