  Easy to walk into the centre, but wouldn’t book again unless the pool / area had a makeover

  Disliked: Overlooked a busy dual carriage way, the train ran right at the back of the pool. We booked this hotel also because of the pool, however the pool is in desperate need of maintenance, it was dirty, tiles missing, green moss everywhere black grit like substance all around the edge,it desperately needed cleaning as did the lounge area, surprising as the rest of the hotel was clean.

  Liked: The hotel is located in a beautiful area with sea views. Our room had direct access to a terrace overlooking the sea, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and cleaned every day. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety of sweet options.

  Disliked: The hotel is located close to a railway line and a busy road, which made it quite noisy at times. The steep uphill walk to the hotel can also be challenging if you are not travelling by car. Although the room was clean, there was an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which seemed to be covered up with air fresheners. The breakfast lacked variety when it came to vegetables, with only cherry tomatoes and cucumbers available. Around the pool, many of the sun loungers were worn out, and there were not enough umbrellas. The umbrellas were not arranged very well, so guests often had to move them around themselves to create some shade.
