  Treasure of Acireale

  Liked: We absolutely loved our stay at Residenza Cavour. It is in the historical centre, around the corner from the cathedral. There was no problem with parking as Michelangelo got us permission to enter ZTL and reserved us a parking spot right next to the accommodation. Michelangelo was amazing. Great communication, he was always available to answer our questions. He gave us great tips for restaurants and for places to see nearby. The breakfast is included in two nearby cafes which is great because you eat like a local:) You have three options what to get. The room was clean, well-equipped and from the window, you could hear a bell of the cathedral. We loved the atmosphere of Acireale, it didn’t feel too crowded and was really local which we appreciate while travelling.

  Mix of great location and management

  Liked: Great location in an underrated place (Acireale, compared for example to Siracusa), central Residence, close to all amenities, to be reached by foot. Manager (Michelangelo) super-available and helpful from start to finish, had all the answers and local insight, always available for communication.

  Liked: First of all the location is fantastic, just a few steps away from the Duomo. But most of all, Michelangelo lives up to his name (Angelo means angel)! He's just so focussed on making your stay a memorable one that I would not hesitate to recommend him and Residenza Cavour in a heartbeat. He truly made our stay a special one.

  Liked: All three breakfast options in three different bars - all in absolute proximity - were fair and sufficient for the start of the day. Michelangelo, facility manager, was super friendly, helpful and available at any moment and for any issue.

  Perfect Sicilian stay

  Liked: The best thing about this property is its manager, Michelangelo. He goes on and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable- securing the parking, restaurant suggestions, sightseeing advice etc. Secondly the location of this property could not be better- just a few steps away from the main square. Acireale is a magical town and the best starting point to discover Etna, Taormina, Catania. We loved a breakfast arrangement of this property- you can choose between three local places to grab a typical Sicilian breakfast. The room was very spacious and clean with great bathroom- it was the best find in Sicilia.
