  Sicilian life 🇮🇹

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay in Acireale! The apartment was spotless and located in a very calm neighborhood. At first, I was a bit concerned about parking since I had rented a car to visit nearby cities, but it turned out to be quite manageable—you quickly get used to the system. The place itself is clearly newly renovated: the shower has a great water jet with perfect warmth, and everything feels fresh and modern. The location couldn’t be better—the historic center is just around the corner, a supermarket is less than 10 minutes away, and breakfast at Cipriani Café is an absolute amazing. Their pastries are incredible, and after trying granitas in Catania and Taormina, I can say Cipriani’s are the best! If you’re looking for a calm, clean, and perfectly located stay on the east coast of Sicily—just an hour from Mount Etna—Visula is the right choice. Rent a Fiat 500 and enjoy!
