The Hidden Jewel of the Amalfi Coast
Liked: Everything! I waited to write this review as I wanted to do this experience justice. It was paradise. Unless I was writing a travel book, it would be impossible to describe the magnificence of the property and the people of Conca dei Marini, the hidden gem of the Amalfi coast. Our host Giulia is a wonderful woman and saw to our every need. I don’t think I have ever experienced that level of indulgence in my traveling life. Whether excursion bookings, food booking, transportation considerations and everything that you need for a wonderful holiday. You need to do nothing but leave everything in her capable hands. She even welcomed the 14 traveling in our party to her home and wonderful home kitchen restaurant Amapola for an gastro experience like no other. The property’s location allowed us to dine at Le Bonta DelCapo. We had a reservation for our last night, however were informed by our taxi driver Enzo there was no need to wait. We spent 4 glorious nights dining and being entertained by a family run restaurant and a staff that was magical. From Chef, to his son Vincenzo we were treated like family, all lead by Antonio who made us feel that we always belonged. Antonio, we are all in your gracious debt. If you have an opportunity to stay at Villa Elena, do not hesitate as you will be transported to paradise at a magical experience.

Liked: We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Elena. The host was lovely and provided us with plenty of helpful advice. The villa's views were absolutely stunning and it was perfect for a large group, offering common areas for gathering while still allowing everyone the privacy of their own bedroom and bathroom. The water pressure was excellent and the showers were always hot, which is a plus when you have 10 people needing to get ready. The villa was spotless and we loved the thoughtful design details and artwork that truly captured the charm of Amalfi. We also dined at a local restaurant, Le Bonita del Capo, just a short walk away. The experience was unforgettable, with live music, dancing, and exceptional service. Antonio the owner of the restaurant - words can’t describe. He will make sure you are entertained and prepare your vocal cords for some karaoke! You’ll have a night to remember. The pasta was a 10/10 and we went back the next day. There’s also a charming little shop, La Botegga Del Corso, in the other direction that sells local pottery, similar to the beautiful pieces displayed around the villa—another must-visit spot!
