This is the hamlet where the Path of the Gods begins. There are family-run hotels, guesthouses and apartments, with shops and cheese dairies close at hand.
San Lazzaro
On the edge of the plateau, with views of the sea and the Lauritano castle. It has small hotels and country houses, with a very peaceful atmosphere.
Pianillo and Campora
The central hamlets have most of the services, shops and bus stops. There are B&Bs and simple apartments, practical for getting around.
Amalfi and the coast
If you would rather sleep by the sea, Amalfi and the coastal villages have far more choice, though at higher prices. From there you go up to Agerola by bus or car.
