Great breakfast and rooms, but poor parking organisation and staff communication
Liked: I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with an incredibly wide selection. The room was very clean, the towels were fresh, and the room itself was spacious. The wine in the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff provided excellent service in multiple languages.
Disliked: I was very disappointed with the way the hotel organised the exit from its car park. Instead of installing the gate-opening button next to the gate, it was hidden behind a pillar near one of the parking spaces. Rather than putting up numerous signs explaining where to find it, the hotel could simply have paid an electrician to run 15 metres of cable to the gate and install the button on the pillar right next to it. An even better solution would be to install a sensor that detects approaching vehicles and automatically opens the gate. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way the hotel staff communicated with me. Instead of simply apologising and acknowledging that the system was poorly organised and needed significant improvement, they insisted that I had simply not been paying attention. Furthermore, it was completely inappropriate for the staff to initiate unnecessary small talk about trivial matters at 9 p.m. after this incident. The only things I wanted at that point were a shower, dinner, and some rest after a long working day.
Liked: Extra personal bike boxes at no cost. Bike cleaning room. Perfect friendly and helpful staff.
Liked: Hotel room was super clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Free parking accessed by lift was a big plus. Located right on the edge of the old town, only a short 5 minute walk away.
Disliked: No negatives during our 2 night stay.
the stay was overall good, TV had no english channels, I could open the windows which was great
