Lovely flat in great location with fantastic terrace with sea views
Liked: I received a video in advance on how to access the property which was really helpful. Although there is no parking at the apartment, it wasn’t difficult to find parking nearby. The rooftop terrace was the highlight of the apartment with an amazing view of the sea. A fantastic place to watch the sunset. The apartment was immaculate when we arrived and the bed was really comfortable.
Disliked: As the apartment is in the eaves of the building, there are sloping ceilings, so I did bump my head on occasion! Also the access to the apartment itself is via a spiral staircase which could potentially cause some people with mobility issues a problem. That said, there was no issue for us.
Liked: Large comfortable unit in a compound with sea views from the balcony down the road to the sea. Follow the pictures to find which unit block you need to access and find the key box as instructions were not clear in finding the key box. Once in the unit we had a very pleasant stay. Bathroom has been recently renovated and is large and modern. The bedrooms do their job and beds were comfortable with each room leading onto a common balcony. Liked: Fabulous location in quiet beach area away from crowds in the old town. Spacious, very attentive host, & very comfortable, great deck & sea views. Reminded us of our mandarin apt when we lived in Northern Italy for 3 yrs.
Disliked: Stairs case up was a bit rickety. Needs small repair.

Liked: Best location, near to the beach but not far from the old town, well equipped apartament, little gifts (juice, water, bonbon, cake, chips), balcony, garderobe...

Rooftop hideaway in Alghero
Liked: Lovely apartment for a couple close to Alghero marina and historic centre. Clean and comfortable. Great communication with the host, Francesca. Lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. Comfy bed Great air con Efficient washing machine Delightful balcony to enjoy the fantastic local produce, Ichnusa and Vermentino! Beautiful sunsets!
Disliked: I loved that it is a cozy, quirky attic. We are unfortunately quite tall so there were some bumps followed by swearing! Only in the first few days as we got used to it. I wish there was a central facility to dispose of rubbish daily. This is not the fault of the owner, more an observation of the way rubbish is managed in the area.
Wonderful stay in Alghero
Liked: Francesca's apartment is located in a great location next to the seafront and the old town. The apartment is very nice, clean and sufficiently equipped. The layout is very functional, as the bedrooms face inner yard, ensuring good nights sleep. The best part, however, is the host Francesca, who is very warm and attentive.
Disliked: The double bed is very comfortable for one person, but because it has a slight dip in the middle, it is a bit uncomfortable for two adults
