Very good
Well located room to explore beautiful Alghero old town
Liked: The location was great close to old town and lovely cafe underneath
Disliked: It was tired. Clean but needed maintenance. The kettle kept shorting the electrics, the blind wouldn’t go up or down in main window. WiFi was intermittent. There was no replies to my questions through bookings.Com though host did message me direct to ask what time we were arriving.
Good place to stay 1 or 2 nights for reasonable price
Liked: Location was the best, close to the city center but not in a busy or noisy street. Good value for money compared to other places. Parking in front. Housekeeping lady was kind.
Disliked: Shower water pressure really low. Fridge made a lot of noice. Bed was not great. Parking in front was really busy and crowded, street always full and large parking area in front took us 10 to 15 minutes to find a spot in the evening. (Plus the large parking costs 30+ a day..)

Liked: The biggest advantage was definitely the location, as the hotel was very close to the coast. The room itself was nicely decorated and generally clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the little extras, such as coffee and croissants left for us, which was a nice touch. Overall, the stay was mostly positive.
Disliked: There were, however, a few things that could be improved. At night, keeping the window open meant that we could clearly hear loud music coming from the beach, which could be disturbing. The bathroom was also quite dated and could use some renovation. During our stay, there was also a problem with the air conditioning, which started leaking water onto the floor. We stopped using it to avoid causing any damage. The host noticed the issue and contacted us the following day to arrange a repair. Unfortunately, we were out on a trip and couldn’t be there immediately to let someone into the room. We informed the host that the repair person could enter while we were away, but unfortunately this did not happen. As a result, we had to spend another night without air conditioning, which was quite uncomfortable in the heat.
