  Great location, may be a good budget solution for students but not for professionals

  Liked: The location, the availability and the readiness of the host to resolve issues.

  Disliked: There was mold between the tiles in the bathroom that had a very unpleasant smell. When we told our host about this upon our afternoon arrival, he immediately offered to take care of it the next morning. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet tank took a lot of time to fill up - described as an issue of apartments of the historic centre by the host. Nevertheless, this was very inconvenient. There was no wifi, but the host also offered to fix this the next morning. However, during the night, we realised that the simple-glazed windows let all noise in and we couldn‘t sleep until early morning because of the noise from the neighbouring restaurants. Around 6, we woke up to the sound of glass containers being emptied by the garbage trucks. We decided that all this is not relaxing and far from what one can expect based on the 9/10 rating the accommodation had when we booked. The host was ready to accept cancellation for the rest of the days of our booking, which we appreciate, however, not without reacting in an unprofessional way that left a bitter taste in our mouth.

  Great choice in Alghero

  Liked: Perfect location. Early check-in was allowed. Excellent apartment, very cosy and well equipped.

  Disliked: The corkscrew was broken. It was hard to block the sunlight in the early morning.
