Liked: Good place to stay if You don't like crowds of Matera and would like to visit other places around. Porta Matera is a smart name. Room was very clean as well as kitchen. It was even too clean, I was afraid to do something dirty. Breakfast was simple but based on fresh products.
Disliked: The hosts were nice but we had the impression of being over-controlled, so outside the room we were a bit uncomfortable. Cameras in every corner of the hall heightened the feeling.
