Exceptional
It was our first holiday as a family and it was better than we could have expected, the guest house was a huge factor in
Liked: Homely, stylish, modern, clean, convenient location, had all the necessities and beautiful.
Disliked: Me personally there wasn’t anything I disliked. But for other guests to be aware there are steps to access the guest house.
Don’t hesitate! A perfectly located, outstanding, charming and spotless guesthouse!
Liked: An exceptional property in an outstanding location, fabulously and stylishly appointed, spotlessly clean and hosted by a delightful Italian family. This characterful and charming property is in the centro storico, minutes away from the ancient bakeries of Alteramura. There are 3 ‘rooms' in total, 2 of which contain 2 separate rooms and can sleep 4. There is a shared kitchen.
Would highly recommend renting the entire house for a family or group of 4 or more people
Liked: The guest house is in the old town center of Altamura. It is a second level house entrance with a small bar below. You enter into a common kitchen which has everything to cook a simple meal and plenty of refrigerator space. I appreciate that they have a compost and recycle bins. We were up the stairs from the kitchen in a suite that had 2 bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. The entire guest house has been recently remodeled and is tastefully decorated. It is spotless and was comfortable and in a good location in the center of town.
Disliked: One night there was some noise from the music in the bar but that did end promptly when it seems a neighbor spoke to the owner and had them close the doors. The bar owners do seem to be very respectful and keep the area clean and were very friendly.
Perfect for a spring break stay for families, too!
Liked: Very cosy, perfect for families, clean, super central. Easy parking nearby, very helpful and flexible host with quick answers and solutions for any requests. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Easy to reach Matera and Bari as well from Altamura, so a great spot for a 2-3 day stay. Thank you!
Just amazing and would return if we visit Altamura again
