Exceptional
Good location, clean, but has some issues
Liked: I'm not quite as enthusiastic as the other reviewers. But the location was great, halfway between the train station and the historic District, which is ideal. The entire place was very clean. The bathroom was updated, huge, and phenomenal. The host was responsive and attentive, but I would have preferred to meet with him or speak with him on the phone and not deal with him just through WhatsApp
Disliked: As others have indicated, noise from other guests can easily be heard. Also. My room was number 8 and very dark, with no window in the actual bedroom. There was a window down down a little hall/corridor, but it provided very little light to the room itself. The other guest bedrooms appeared fine. The vinyl flooring near the bathroom area needs to be replaced. One or two pieces are obviously not attached, and several others have holes. This should be a quick fix. Lastly, and this is not the fault of the owner, but the building is older and there is some type of large compressor type machine on the first floor that makes a deep thumping noise that can easily be heard in my room. This happens several times a minute and throughout the night as well. I noticed it the second I entered the building, where it's really loud, but i was hoping it was just temporary. It really was an issue.

Liked: Great location, really friendly owners and cafe they run for yummy lunch and breakfast
Liked: We liked everything. Location is great. With Domenico we had so simple and easy communication. We arrived earlier, so we asked Domenico for an eary check in. There was no problem about it. But what really delighted us was a daily restocking of the fridge with water, both still and sparkling, ensuring we each had two bottles, which was a lifesaver in this hot temperatures.
Disliked: Everything was great.
