Exceptional
Our stay in Varenna was excellent
Liked: The location was wonderful. Very easy to arrive from Milan on the train, walk the city, visit the monastero and enjoy the waterfront restaurants. The host was exceptional. He answered all of our questions and was very accessible once we arrived.
Disliked: The apt was very well appointed. We were happy with everything.
Liked: Beautiful property, great location, great view. Lots of great food options just a short walk away. Lorenna was a very kind and generous host.
Disliked: Giorgio was a bit rude upon arrival when the main parking lot was full and we had to make alternative plans to meet him
Liked: Was right on the water and had nice views of the lake.
Disliked: AIR CON didn’t work. It was really hot. We had to climb alot of stairs to get in and out of property and with a lot of people made it very challenging. Also a long walk from train station.
Liked: The location of the apartment and amazing view.
Disliked: The shower went cold a lot.
Liked: Perfect location overlooking the lake. There are stairs to factor in so pack lightly. Good sized apartment with balcony. Convenient to shops and restaurants in town a 2 minute walk. 5 minutes to the ferry for exploring other towns around the lake.
Disliked: Loved everything
Excellent location by the lake. Easy access to the ferry port
Liked: Excellent location right by the water.
Disliked: Can be noisy at times. Long stairs uphill makes it difficult to carry luggage
