Exceptional
Just right for our late October vacation
Liked: The location was great. We loved being in the old city.
Lovely short break in Varenna
Liked: The location was very central and the unit was very comfortable. It had full cooking facilities which great as we did cook one of our dinners. We also appreciated the hospitality of Marilena.
Disliked: Nothing
Excellent central location, clean and very comfortable
Liked: Our host Marilena was warm, helpful and very informative about the local area. The apartment is spotless, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Perfect central location close to the town and ferries. Highly recommended, and we hope to return!
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect
Perfect place to stay
Liked: Lovely apartment in the centre of the village. Fantastic people watching! We loved the bells of the church, the bustle of the village, and the ferries to nearby towns.
Perfectly located apartment for a wonderful stay in Varenna
Liked: My husband and 2 daughters had a wonderful stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment is located in the very centre of Varenna so perfectly located to explore. The apartment was very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Disliked: Everything was perfect! However, if you want a very quiet stay, this isn't the place for you due to its proximity to church bells and hubub of the square outside. It didn't bother us at all though. No air-conditioning although this is being installed soon - meanwhile the ceiling fans were very effective.
Wonderful adventure each day
Liked: We loved the location to the San Giorgio square, little cafes and vibrant life each day. The bells ringing from churches nearby gave us a true simple life of Italy reminders of culture and simple communications across the lakes. The apartment was very well equipped with all you could need for a n easy time on holiday. Our host Marilena was exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable and warm. We really enjoyed day trips across the lake and the gardens abound with pure architectural beauty of bygone ages, efforts care of planting. Truely the adventure we wanted, so far from our home on shores. thank you. ciao 🇮🇹🇮🇹💃🏼💃🏼✅✅✅
Disliked: All good no issues
