Exceptional
Absoltuely the best place to stay in Varenna! We loved it!
Liked: This apartment was wonderful! It is perfectly located. It overlooks Lake Como - your window is literally 50' from the Lake. It's very quaint but has everything you need. Andrea, the host, is the nicest man you could ever meet. He owns the cafe below the apartment and the food there is great! The staff at the restaurant are so nice and helpful. I loved this place. We will stay there again anytime we are in Varenna.

Liked: The location is the best in Varenna and the views were incredible from the apartment. It was an unbelievable location; truly a gem of the city. The staff were friendly and very helpful and ensured we had a lovely stay. The apartment was adorable and felt like an extension of home as we adored the furnishings, art work, and overall vibe. Our stay was 100/10.
Disliked: Literally nothing. If it were possible we would have stayed longer. My daughter is already teary eyed we have to leave not just Varenna but this apartment in particular, as it was everything we could have asked for and more.
Would stay again and recommend
Liked: Location was absolutely amazing. The apartment was even better in person and the view is breathtaking. Close walk to the ferry and local cafes, restuarants.
Disliked: Host was friendly enough but busy with his cafe downstairs so appeared to be a little bit put out on arrival and departure in terms of helping us with our bags (which you need with the stairs) Would have been a nice touch to include breakfast at the cafe as an inclusion as the accommodation is expensive for what it is despite the location which is what you are paying for!
Liked: The location is simply perfect- right in the heart of town but with the added privacy we desired. Watching sunsets from the balcony with its stunningly amazing views was a highlight, as was the ease of ordering food and drinks from the cafe below. The restaurant found just up the alley from the front door was divine, with great service and quintessential views. The apartment is easily accessed, has all of the modern comforts we needed while still retaining the authentic charm of the area. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to the area- it is THE best location in Varenna and Andrea was a great host- meeting us for check in and answering any questions we had.
