  We'd never visited Brindisi before - great stay, lovely hosts, and it was fiesta time!

  Liked: As described by previous reviewers the simple breakfast was at their café, but gluten free was provided for after our prior request. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean, and the bed very comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and exceptionally hospitable, which we very much loved and appreciated.

  Disliked: We knew the accommodation was up stairs, but hadn't appreciated that there were 56 stairs. However, our lovely hosts carried our suitcase for us both up and down

  Perfect for a night's sleep

  Liked: Friendly host, straightforward check-in process

  Disliked: The air-conditioning was somewhat not working, with fluctuating noise that was a bit distracting, and the display on the aircon unit was defective.

  Good location, modern accommodation in nice old building with host on site, small breakfast included

  Liked: Good location in the old town, accessible from the ferry by taxi. We were allowed to check in late in the evening, and given the full introduction to the property by the very nice host. Accommodation was modern and comfortable. Small breakfast included at a little bar on a main street not far away.

  Disliked: Minor thing - little bit of maintenance needed - bathroom tap was loose.

  Fantastic stay!

  Liked: Everything was absolutely amazing, perfectly clean, and fully functional. We slept incredibly well because the bed was so comfortable. The host was truly lovely and went out of her way to help us with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

  Unreliable host

  Disliked: I have stayed in the same place a couple of years ago and I was satisfied, this is why I decided to book it a second time. This time, however, one hour before the check-in, the host suddenly cancelled our booking motivating a problem with the bathroom. When I called to inquire, the host indicated that Booking will deal with the issue. In the end, it was me who dealt with the issue, making a new reservation in the very evening we were supposed to receive accommodation, but on a different online platform and paying much more than I did initially. As I understand that unexpected problems may arise, it is unacceptable to cancel the booking one hour before the supposed check-in and not to provide the guests with alternative solutions, expecting them to solve a problem which is not their fault. The money for the room were not returned immediately, but only after several days, forcing me to make additional expenditures I did not predict.

  Liked: The stay was overall fine and met basic expectations. The place was clean and generally quiet, and the quality is adequate for the price. One small downside was the bathroom window — it is positioned high and faces an inner courtyard, which wouldn’t be an issue in itself, but unfortunately it couldn’t be properly closed. As a result, it can get quite cold, especially outside of the warmer season. The space shows some signs of wear and could benefit from a small table for added comfort. On the positive side, everything was clean, and there’s a good breakfast spot nearby, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a decent and reasonably priced option.
