  Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Booked in an emergency and the staff were very kind and patient especially David. Felt very secure.

  Disliked: It's not a holiday destination but it meets a need for the ferry and airport.

  A port in a storm

  Liked: This residence was similar to a motel. We got a last minute booking due to our flight being cancelled very late at night. Although the facilities are basic they were immaculate and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. They provide breakfast but there are no other service facilities on the premises. The room was very spacious and the shower was great. It is ideal for travellers on the road and workers in the local businesses.

  Disliked: The location was very remote. It was located on the periphery of an industrial estate and there were no shops, bars or restaurants near by. But I was very grateful for the assistance of the lovely staff who did their best to accommodate a large number of stranded travellers with grace and patience, especially David and the night receptionist who was so welcoming. A warning...the taxi drivers at the airport charged 70 euro for a one way 12k trip to the hotel and completely exploited everyone. There were about ten couples. But the hotel had a lovely guy called Bruno who brought us to a shopping centre during the day and only charged 30 to go to the airport. Bravo Bruno.

  Practical and convenient, perfect!

  Liked: Access from the ferry arriving late from Greece. Offering secure parking and clean, adequate room for us, it was one night. Breakfast very good, staff friendly even though we had a language barrier. Google translate helps.

  Disliked: The surrounding area is port and industrial development so this little oasis seems incongruous to the environment that pleats at night rather surreal. Still glad it is there for us, pet friendly too so no complaints.

  OK BUT TIRING TO FIND

  Disliked: For somebody who did not have GPS in his phone, IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND LENGTY TO FIND. IN THE PAPERS TO PRINT YOU SHOULD INCLUDE A CLEAR DESCRIPTION OF "HOW TO FIND THE HOTEL" AND ADD CLEAR IDENTIFICATION FROM DISTANCE" AS WELL AS INITIAL DESCRIPTION OF "HOW TO FIND"

  Liked: They have safe parking area but you need to reserve it. Good buffet breakfast.

  Disliked: In the middle of nowhere, can only be reached by car. They have kitchen in rooms but you need to book it with 20€ per day fee.
